"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:43-45

Isaac is nicknamed "ti pastè" or little pastor ... he loves to take a turn reading and even leading when we sit down to do devotions together (which lately is like almost never).  He is uniquely able to see the good in things and his sunny outlook lifts his entire family up on down days. Thank you Lord for the gift of Isaac.

Haiti life continues at a fast and intense pace, therefore we only have a minute to check-in. Paige is feeling better today. She has gone to work on some Math with Becky and Jimmy to get a jump start on it before our official first day of school on Monday.

We are planning to pray together and dedicate the school and the year ahead on Monday morning at 7:30.  We trust God with our kids and know He loves them even more than us. It is easy to get afraid and try to carry the weight of our concerns for the kids all alone ----- but we're continually learning it is so much easier to allow Him to carry it.

Paige is 70% better. Troy is 92% better. We're praying the rest of the family is protected from these creepy, crappy, mosquitoes.

More soon.
Nou apresye ou!
