Hair Do's and Other Things

Before and After

We are trying to scare our nephew with all the freaky photos of Uncle Troy ...
Aidan, do you still want him to come to your house this fall? He is a scary guy.

Before and After
(There was a concern that Troy would use those wings to fly far away, we gave in and cut his hair so you don't have to listen to hair talk anymore. He is a new man.)

Carl/Troy was taken for a ride for yet another night. Rat still alive and on the loose. Laundry still not getting done unless Troy will enter the laundry room and make switches for me. I am dreaming of a day that I can confidently enter my laundry room knowing I am safe from rodents.
`
Troy is out trying to determine if one of our cooks has a broken leg. Everyone says she does but stories tend to get bigger in the re-telling. Before he signed up for hours of driving and waiting to try to get her to the right place in town, he thought he would go evaluate the situation himself.
`
One time, the school director "almost died" and was "very bad" after being in a motorcycle crash. Troy rushed down to get him. Based on the story, he went expecting to find blood and a serious situation, when he got there the director had one raspberry type scrape on his elbow. Almost dead did not look too bad to us that day.
`
Tomorrow Britt will go GLA Orphanage to meet up with Kristin Vanderwell for some Math tutoring. We're hoping the time proves to be productive and that Britt can get clarification on some of her questions. Troy stuck with her for a long time, but this is it --- she has moved beyond him.
`
Hope is taking her turn at the fever thing today. I asked her if she feels sick, she said "No, my tummy and head just hurt." How is that for optimism?
