The Medical Advocacy Team is working to bring a 5-month-old baby girl from Haiti to the US for surgery to repair her Encephalocele (large bump on the back of her head).
They are very close to having a surgeon and hospital lined up to donate care in Omaha, Nebraska. Surgery is tentatively slated for the end of March.
They are looking for a family in the Omaha, NE area that would be willing to host this baby in their home for the duration of her stay in the US (approx. 4-6 months).
She will return to her loving family in Haiti upon completion of her medical care.
