Saturday ...

Heartline/Maranatha has two adoptive families in this weekend. The Pearsons are using the apartment to spend time with their boys. Jason and Sarah Hyatt are staying at our house while they are here visiting Naomi. They were on a team with the Iveys in May 2008, and are one of three families from that team that are now adopting from Haiti. The first reunion of three sisters!

Hope and Phoebe got to meet their big sister Grace last night. It was moving for the two adoptive moms to see them all together ... and the birth-mom was of course beaming and totally thrilled too. If Troy felt anything, you'll have to ask him what ... he got stuck interpreting so maybe it was less awesome for him. We got to celebrate Gracie's 9th Birthday with her with cake and singing, it was a great night. The three girls have such similar voices and mannerisms and we think Phoebe and Grace look a lot alike.It was an honor and a privilege to allow their birth mother the gift of seeing them all in one place ... thanks to Stephanie for bringing Grace back to Haiti and making this possible for all of us.
