Businesses

In our home state of MN, we boast about being home to the largest mall in America.

The "Mall of America" is an amazing place. There is no way a Haitian who had never left here could ever even imagine it. I can only imagine taking Pastor Rony there ... it would probably horrify him. There is no way he could take it in.

We joke that the Mall of America has so many specialty stores that it would not be out of the question to walk by a store called "Spatula World." Without exaggerating, I know there is a store there that only sells butterfly decor. The Butterfly store. Ridiculous. How do they pay the rent?

Anyway, all of this is just to say that we wanted to share some of the specialty stores in Haiti with you. None of them are paying high rent inside of America's largest mall, but they sure are specializing --- they have found a niche in their marketplace. Enjoy.
