Sunday Morning

Can every post be titled "Hanging In There"? Or would that be too desperate? We're fine. We had a fun Saturday with music practice at church, a fantastic greasy hamburger lunch with Pastor John, and the purchase of an early birthday present for Isaac. We found a 'big boy bike' for him. He's ready to shed the trike in time for his fifth birthday next month, so we've begun the two-wheel training regimen as of this afternoon.

For Sunday we'll be taking off early to worship away at church, heading home for a quick nap for the kids (ok for me, too)...and then driving north a bit for a wedding "reception"/party for missionary friends of ours who just returned after their wedding in Canada.

Please pray for Tara and the kids, for safe travels, good rest, uplifting fellowship, good health, and not to tell me about every time they eat out at a restaurant.

For your listening pleasure (or annoyance), here is one of my favorite songs, by one of my favorite groups, Selah. To add insult to injury, the rest of my family will be seeing them perform live at the conference tomorrow. Ouch, babe.
